Freedom
2026 is the year of the horse. Painted over a previous painting someone else had done, it represents taking what is given to you, making something new, and running with it. This is a mixed media painting with hair from my halloween costume, bedazzled horse, and other cut outs.
My Heart, For you
Mixed media piece. The red around it was from another art piece of a giant bejeweled vagina. Here it is more like a curtain for the heart, being birthed out of my body for the other to take. Everything was finger painted and feels very bodily while being touched up and refined with jewels and gems afterwards. It is about giving all of yourself and more, your body and heart for another, to be given on a silver platter for them to take at their choosing.
Rude Awakening
This piece came as an idea when I was rudely awoken one morning by my period. This was unlike any other morning getting my period I had experienced before. I was dripping blood all the way to the bathroom and when I turned around to look at myself in the mirror I was shocked to see how much blood covered my body. This is another mixed media piece and the blood is real blood I collected from my period.
